Thank you for visiting the new site for I Love Your Dog Pet Services. With me, everybody is a star. Training is my passion and I've been doing it for over 25 years and with that, there has been many rewards along with setbacks. My love for animals made me the person I am today, but the clients I have met over the years have produced lifelong friends. Always giving my best was what my mother would instill in me. My love for my dogs made me want to do the best for them. With each thing I do in my business, I give that 110%. My pet sitting takes three visits so your pampered pooch is very comfortable with me, and you, as the owner, need to be comfortable, too. That's what is important to me. With retail sales, I pride myself on the best quality and best prices out there.
Being raised in Los Angeles, California, and always having a love for dogs and cats, I knew I wanted to be a dog trainer at a very early age. I had told my mom I wanted to be a world-famous dog trainer some day. My mom always told me to give it my best. I trained my first dog when I was 8 years old and it was so much fun. When I was 17 years old, I started working in pet shops and kennels, and worked my way up. I was always learning wherever I was; taking notes and then doing things my way and still doing the job the company needed done. I worked at a training kennel where I couldn't work because I couldn't train through intimidation; the dogs were so scared that they would cower when approached. I went to the manager with this complaint and she said, "Kim, just work with this bunch and the next ones that come in are all yours from start to finish." I quit that day after hearing someone say she was paying $1100.00 to housebreak her dog; we were just talking and I said to my manager that I couldn't come back the next day. Well, my business started picking up and I was off and running. I met so many nice people that I can call, to this day. In 2006, we moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, and started there and never looked back. Things are good, but difficult sometimes. It sometimes seems that since you have a business you have lots of money. Not true, but I am rich. I have a good heart, I have great friends who were clients. I have a wonderful dog who treats me as if it was the first time she saw me even if I'm just going to empty the trash, and she's happy and settles down when she knows I'm back. I enjoy life. I enjoy helping people if and when I can. As you can tell by this, I am a personal trainer, where your opinion matters. AND, I LOVE your dog. I wouldn't do anything outside of the pet industry because it brings me so much happiness. I have been doing this job for over 26 years, and if you need me, don't worry; I'll be here.
